Burns began her professional career on television in 1995, as the character Peg in a role of support in the Spanish American teen comedy Out of the Blue (from 1995 to 1996). Burns made her debut on television in 1995 when she was a part of the cast for the Spanish-American teenage sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). The following year, she was a part of Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action show. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
